Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional members consist of professional stylists, barbers, salons, schools, and students who have an interest in or specialize in natural hair care in lieu of chemically straightening naturally curly or tightly coiled hair.

ANHC Pro Business Breakfast Series

ANHC Pro host Atlanta’s only monthly business breakfast series for natural hair care professionals. The breakfast series happens at 11:00am every third Sunday at Mojito restaurant located inside of Hotel Midtown. The series provides a place for professionals to meet and learn about ideas, products, services, issues, and events that are relevant to the natural hair care industry. The breakfast is free for ANHC Pro members and $15.00 for the general public. It includes a breakfast buffet, a 30-45 minute presentation from industry professional, open discussion, and a post breakfast networking session.

Discounts

Member discounts include discounts of 15% or more at local beauty supply stores, 15% or more off for Atlanta Natural Hair Care, Inc. trainings and seminars. Members also receive discounts from vendor trainings like Groove Therapy Product certifications.

Marketing & Business Assistance

Atlanta Natural Hair Care, Inc. will also assist you with marketing and building up your clientele. Membership includes having a basic member page set up for you on AtlantaNaturalHair.com. Once your member page is set up you will be able to personalize it, add pictures, and get directly involved with Atlanta’s online natural hair community. Your member page will be featured in an AtlantaNaturalHair.com weekly e-mail Update. Each Update features two member profiles, videos, articles, and upcoming events that promote and serve Atlanta’s nature hair community. If you already have a member page on AtlantaNaturalHair.com, we will review your page and provide you a full page analysis identifying the strengths and weaknesses of your page and providing instruction for making improvements.

Government & Industry Advocacy

Atlanta Natural Hair Care, Inc. also works with our Professional members to help them navigate the Georgia Board of Cosmetology and Georgia Board of Barberssystems. We check up on outstanding requests and help get them expedited. We attend the open sessions of both the Barber’s and Cosmetology’s Board meetings every month to make sure that our members are kept informed about changes in the law and issues that directly effect the natural hair care industry. Professional Members receive a quarterly e-newsletter keeping them abreast of government and industry happenings and are welcome to call or email us if they have specific concerns or questions.

Membership Card

Within 10 business days of receipt of membership dues Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional will mail you your membership card. Membership cards or member numbers must be presented at the point of purchase to receive Atlanta Natural Hair Care Professional discounts. Membership cards expire one year from their activation date.
